The Role of Behind-The-Meter PPA in Delivering Sustainability and Business Competitiveness
Behind-the-meter Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) are emerging as a powerful mechanism for energy-intensive businesses to accelerate decarbonisation while strengthening their commercial position. By enabling on-site generation and efficiency projects without upfront capital investment, behind-the-meter PPAs align sustainability objectives with operational resilience and cost control. During this in-person event, On-Site Energy will explore and answer questions on how PPAs are helping organisations reduce energy costs, cut carbon emissions, and future-proof their operations in increasingly volatile energy markets.
About On-Site Energy
On-Site Energy works only with energy intensive manufacturers to reduce energy costs and emissions. OSE owns and operates the assets, providing off-balance sheet “Energy as a Service”. This means:
- OSE designs, builds, pays for, owns, operates & maintains the energy centre
- OSE charges the facility for power generated
- OSE delivers savings for off-takers, without capex investment
- OSE drives benefits for local supply chains
