Getting BICS off the Ground: A Practical Update for Major Energy Users
The British Industrial Competitiveness Scheme (BICS) is expected to become an important electricity cost support mechanism for eligible industrial and manufacturing organisations.
With legislation expected in Autumn 2026 and exemptions from Renewables Obligation and Feed-in Tariffs due to begin from April 2027, November is a timely point to review the latest position and what major energy users should be preparing for.
In this webinar, Ameresco will provide a practical update on BICS, including who may benefit, what the scheme could mean for electricity costs, and the steps organisations should be considering ahead of implementation.
