What Are MEUC Events

We hold regular events, both in-person and online for our UK members, supporters and wider stakeholders. Most of our events are also made available on-demand to members providing a wealth of information and a valuable resource.
Our events and training courses are put together from decades of expertise and understanding of Major Energy and Water Users. They provide vital insight with the unique opportunity to hear from experts in the energy, water and environmental sectors. Targeted not only to add value to you and increase your knowledge; but also to help promote your voice to Government and Regulators alike.

Earning revenues through demand flexibility

Tuesday 11 June (10.00-11.00am)

Drax Energy Solutions’ Electric Assets Lead Jake Miller will outline the commercial opportunity available in National Grid ESO’s Demand Flexibility Service. He’ll summarise the scheme, typical values achieved, and how Drax has supported its customers in earning revenues from turning down demand at peak periods. He’ll also share some thoughts on the evolution of the service.
