Save Water, Save Money – and carbon emissions too
We’ve helped hundreds of sites, at organisations large and small, manage their water more easily, efficiently and effectively, saving on energy where less water needs to be moved or used – and where less hot water’s been used too. Along with account management services, our technical water experts have helped organisations of different sizes find the opportunities to cut water waste, running costs and risks to operations, including adding data loggers that feed information into an online portal, making water across multiple sites easy to track.
We’re also working with the Food and Drink Federation – throughout 2022 and in 2023 – to help the search for companies leading the way on reducing impacts on the environment. More details on work with the FDF can be found here.
So, where’s the carbon emissions in water?
There are carbon emissions linked to the wastewater from your site which is taken away and treated once you’ve used it – and carbon emissions linked to the water that you get through your taps – so reducing either of these – and any waste – helps you towards Net Zero and beyond. This graphic shows the relationship between carbon and water.
Knowing what water you’re using where is an important first step to take towards powering your organisation to more efficient operations and reducing risks to interruptions.
