HYRO is a joint venture between Octopus Energy Generation and RES.  HYRO provides green hydrogen solutions for energy-intensive businesses, supporting hard-to-electrify processes to reach their decarbonisation goals.  Green hydrogen will play a key role in the energy transition – as a zero-carbon fuel it can help many sectors in the net-zero journey. HYRO supports and promotes businesses electrifying their processes but there are many industrial processes that are difficult to electrify and HYRO is excited about the role green hydrogen can play and wants to work with businesses to support their decarbonisation journey.  HYRO have successfully secured a HAR1 subsidy contract from the UK government to supply green hydrogen to the Kimberley Clark tissue mill in Northfleet, Kent.
